Something funny happened on the way to the Blog

It’s never easy to start something new.

I have been thinking for months on how to begin this blog and what direction to take, when an online order came in.  It was from a mom named Tara who lives in Waterloo, a University town and the heart of RIM and the Blackberry smart phone.

Funny thing was that my husband and I were going to be moving our middle son Zach into the University of Waterloo residences that same week.  So I e-mailed Tara asking to hand deliver her order so that I could meet her face to face;  after all, it isn’t every day that I can see my customers up close and personal.  She agreed.  “And for the record, I didn’t just agree to meet you, I was darn excited!”

Kate's Tooth Fairy Page

Tara surprised me.  She came armed with her daughter Kate’s completed Baby Chronicles book.  Kate’s BC scrapbook was filled to the max and every page was bursting with colorful pictures, words and plenty of baby teeth!  I was thrilled to see how Kate’s memory book told her story and I gave Tara an A+ for her awesome scrapbooking skills.

With Tara’s permission, I am attaching Kate’s Tooth Fairy Visits page, as well as a little tidbit from her baby memory book.  “Tooth number 3 is missing from the page because we never actually found it.  Kate wrote a letter to the tooth fairy explaining the situation, so she was still able to get her reward (a tooney per tooth).  (I put the letter “some place safe” to add to the Chronicles, but it’s currently still “safe”….).

After our meeting, I rethought my blog ideas and decided what better way to start my blog than to invite my customers to blog back how they have filled in their Baby Chronicles and School Year Chronicles memory books.

We will start with My Tooth Fairy Visits page and will profile different pages and get the cute stories behind them.

So now it’s your turn :).  How does your My Tooth Fairy Visits page look? Do you have any baby teeth stories to share?  Please click on “leave a comment” below and send pictures to blog@babychronicles.com.
